AEM Functional Analyst

Function

Our client is looking for a junior functional analyst to support the improvement and optimization of a website built on Adobe Experience Manager. In this role, you will help bridge business needs and technical delivery, turning requirements into clear Adobe-based solutions while contributing to documentation, workshops, and the preparation of functional specifications.

Responsibilities

• Act as part of the AEM team and support the ongoing enhancement of the website.
• Serve as a liaison between the business and technical teams.
• Translate business requirements into Adobe functionalities and components.
• Provide guidance on Adobe best practices related to assets, components, pages, templates, site structure, and SEO.
• Prepare user stories for development and complete functional analysis.
• Lead workshops to clarify open questions and convert them into detailed specifications.
• Support testing activities by presenting demos of prepared new functionalities.
• Document Adobe functionalities and components based on business requirements and best practices.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager, including version 6.4 and/or 6.5.
• Knowledge of Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Campaign is a plus.
• Experience with wireframes, UX concepts, and SEO concepts, and the ability to connect them to AEM.
• Experience with DevOps and Waterfall project approaches.
• Experience working with web agencies, design agencies, and technical teams.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira or DevOps is an advantage.

Profile

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work across business and technical stakeholders.
• Good coaching skills and the ability to guide workshops and demos.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and bring clarity to complex requirements.

Practical Information

• Languages: Dutch or French at native level, plus active knowledge of English; English writing skills are required.
• This is a junior-level consulting opportunity.
