AI Product Owner

Function

Our client is looking for an experienced Product Owner to shape and drive an enterprise AI assistant and agent platform that helps employees access knowledge, automate tasks, and work more efficiently in a secure and responsible way. In this role, you will act as the voice of users, business stakeholders, and the broader AI transformation agenda, ensuring the platform delivers measurable value while evolving in line with business priorities, technology opportunities, and responsible AI expectations.

Responsibilities

• Define, refine, and continuously evolve the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Translate strategic objectives into a clear, prioritized, and actionable backlog.
• Identify opportunities to improve employee productivity and business value through AI capabilities.
• Guide the development of core platform capabilities, contextual agents, AI use cases, and agent ecosystems.
• Ensure alignment with business goals, compliance requirements, and the organization’s AI strategy.
• Own the product backlog and prioritize work based on value, user impact, technical feasibility, risk, and regulatory needs.
• Define product objectives, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure the development team clearly understands business needs and expected outcomes.
• Validate delivered functionality and formally accept sprint outcomes.
• Make scope and prioritization decisions when trade-offs are required.
• Drive adoption, engagement, and measurable value realization across the platform and its AI agents.
• Track and assess performance through key metrics such as MAU, WAU, usage volumes, satisfaction, adoption, and productivity gains.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and lead backlog refinement, planning, and prioritization activities.
• Continuously gather feedback, review usage insights, and support ongoing product improvement.
• Ensure the solution remains stable, high quality, and consistent across releases.
• Promote transparent, explainable, and responsible use of AI.

Profile

The ideal candidate combines strategic product thinking with hands-on delivery experience in an Agile environment. You know how to balance user needs, business goals, governance requirements, and technical realities while keeping a strong focus on measurable outcomes.

• At least 6 years of experience in Product Ownership or Product Management, with a proven Agile delivery background.
• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Data & AI, or a related field.
• Strong experience in strategic product management, senior stakeholder management, change and adoption initiatives, and value realization tracking.
• Experience working in a regulated environment.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, influencing, and leadership skills.
• Analytical, structured, and results-oriented approach with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity.
• Strong user focus, ownership mindset, and a collaborative, team-first attitude.

• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and enterprise knowledge retrieval
• AI agent and multi-agent orchestration concepts
• Prompt engineering and conversational design
• AI guardrails, content filtering, and safety mechanisms
• AI evaluation frameworks covering quality, grounding, hallucination, accuracy, and relevance
• AI observability, monitoring, and performance measurement

• Nice to have: Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, Agile Product Management, or AI/Data Analytics / Digital Transformation certifications

This opportunity offers a hybrid working setup with 50% on-site presence and 50% homeworking.
