AI strategist
Function
We're looking for a consultant to join our client's team, focusing on accelerating digital transformation through the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The successful candidate will work as an embedded consultant, not just providing advice but fostering collaboration with management and stakeholders to establish a solid foundation for AI implementation.
Responsibilities & Deliverables
The consultant will collaborate closely with the management team to bridge the gap between technology and organizational strategy with an emphasis on two main pillars:
- Development of a tailored 'Way of Working' (WoW)
- Define a governance structure and methodology to integrate AI transformation into the existing organization.
- Analyze AI readiness and identify gaps.
- Develop strategies for 'AI Potential Activation' and 'Applied AI' tailored to the organization's mission and objectives.
- Definition of AI Use Cases & Business Value
- Identify and select 2 to 4 high-impact AI use cases.
- Develop detailed project proposals for these use cases.
- Calculate the expected ROI (Return on Investment) and value creation to make the potential tangible for decision-makers.
Profile & Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience & Expertise
- At least 10 years of experience in Digital Strategy.
- A minimum of 10 years in Business Transformation.
- At least 10 years in Management Consulting.
- Proven experience translating AI technology into business value, demonstrating strategic insight rather than just development skills.
- Experience within the public sector or social security is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with Capability Mapping, Operating Models, and Change Management methodologies.
- Skills (Hard & Soft Skills)
- Excellent stakeholder management with strong political acumen to align C-level management and diverse stakeholders.
- Strong numerical skills for building ROI models and business cases.
- Ability to translate abstract strategy into a pragmatic roadmap.
- Fluency in Dutch and English; good knowledge of French is preferred.
