About the Role

We're looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our client's team. In this role, you will contribute to the development, automation, and maintenance of a portfolio of business-critical, real-time applications operating in a highly available production environment. Working within an Agile/Scrum team, you will play a key role in improving automation, deployment processes, system reliability, and operational excellence while collaborating closely with development and infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coach and support fellow DevOps engineers and contribute to technical best practices.

• Coordinate DevOps initiatives across multiple Agile teams.

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

• Automate application deployments, infrastructure provisioning, disaster recovery processes, and operational tasks.

• Manage and optimize configuration management using Ansible and AWX.

• Collaborate with development teams to improve software delivery and operational efficiency.

• Present sprint deliverables and technical progress during Agile ceremonies.

• Maintain technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing within the team.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents while ensuring compliance with established operational procedures.

• Participate in an on-call rotation after the onboarding and training period.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).

• Extensive experience as a DevOps Engineer in production environments.

• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

• Proven expertise with:

  • Ansible and AWX

  • Git

  • Jenkins and/or GitLab CI/CD, including Pipeline-as-Code

  • Containerization: examples Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Helm

  • Linux system administration

  • Monitoring tools such as Elastic Stack, Grafana, and Zabbix

  • SonarQube, Fortify, and Trivy

  • Jira Agile, Xray, and Confluence

• Experience with Bash scripting and Python (FastAPI).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly within complex production environments.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
