Application Analyst

Function

We’re looking for an Application Analyst to join our client’s team and take ownership of a critical planning application used to manage mid-term workload and capacity. In this role, you will act as the key point of contact for both support and continuous improvement, ensuring the application runs smoothly while evolving to meet business needs. This is a fully remote opportunity offering strong autonomy and end-to-end involvement.

Role & Responsibilities

As an Application Analyst, you will oversee the lifecycle and performance of a planning tool built on modern collaboration and enterprise platforms:

• Act as the primary contact for application support, troubleshooting issues and resolving bugs reported by business users
• Analyze and challenge enhancement requests, including feasibility, workload estimation, and business impact
• Design and implement approved improvements, including hands-on development
• Manage deployments and ensure smooth transitions during hypercare phases
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment between functional needs and technical solutions
• Maintain and improve integration with enterprise systems such as ERP platforms

Profile – The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as an Application Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Solution Architect in complex environments
• Strong expertise in SharePoint (on-premise and online) and related platforms, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience
• Solid development skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, and front-end technologies (HTML/CSS)
• Experience working with integrated systems, particularly ERP environments
• ITIL certification (any version)
• Fluent in Dutch and French (minimum C1 level required)
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess feasibility and propose pragmatic solutions

Experience & Expertise

• Demonstrated experience with industrial or technically complex planning processes
• End-to-end involvement in application development cycles: analysis, configuration, customization, and deployment
• Familiarity with process modeling and transformation methodologies (e.g. BPM tools, change management frameworks, project methodologies)
• Ability to operate autonomously while engaging effectively with cross-functional teams
