Application Analyst & Developer

Function

We’re looking for a consultant to join our client’s team as an Application Analyst / Developer. In this role, you will act as the main point of contact for the support and continuous improvement of a planning application used for mid-term operational capacity planning. You will work closely with business stakeholders to resolve issues, analyse improvement requests, and deliver enhancements within a modern collaboration platform integrated with enterprise systems.

Role and responsibilities
As an Application Analyst / Developer, you will combine application support, functional analysis, and development responsibilities to ensure the stability and evolution of a business-critical planning tool.

• Act as the single point of contact for support and maintenance of the planning application.

• Investigate and resolve bugs or incidents reported by business users.

• Analyse enhancement requests by assessing feasibility, technical impact, and development workload.

• Implement new functionalities or improvements when proposals are approved.

• Coordinate and monitor deployments while supporting the hypercare phase after releases.

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure the application continues to meet operational planning needs.

Technical profile

Experience and knowledge

• Proven development experience with JavaScript, C#, TypeScript, and HTML/CSS.

• Strong expertise in SharePoint environments and Project Server (2007–2019 and SharePoint Online), with at least 5 years of hands-on experience.

• Experience working with applications integrated with enterprise systems such as ERP platforms.

• Experience supporting and improving complex planning or scheduling tools within technical or industrial environments.

• Solid experience working across full development lifecycles including analysis, configuration, development, customization, and deployment.

• Familiarity with business process modelling and project methodologies such as BPM frameworks, change management practices, or structured project delivery approaches.

Requirements and skills

• ITIL certification (any version).

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Ability to operate as both a functional and technical expert for an application.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Professional proficiency in Dutch and French (minimum C1 level).
