Application Analyst & Developer

We're looking for an experienced Application Analyst / Developer to join our client's team and take ownership of a critical planning application used to support operational capacity and workload planning. Acting as the primary point of contact for the application, you will be responsible for ensuring its stability, driving continuous improvements, and delivering new functionalities that support business operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who enjoys combining application support, functional analysis, solution design, and hands-on development in a highly autonomous role. The position can be performed fully remotely.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for the support, maintenance, and enhancement of a business-critical planning application.
• Investigate and resolve application incidents, bugs, and user-reported issues.
• Analyze enhancement requests and assess their feasibility, business value, technical impact, and implementation effort.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy approved enhancements and new functionalities.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Monitor deployments and provide hypercare support to ensure a smooth transition into production.
• Contribute to the continuous optimization of planning processes and application performance.
• Participate in both functional and technical analysis activities throughout the application lifecycle.

The Ideal Candidate

• Fluent in Dutch and French (minimum C1 level in both languages).
• ITIL certified (any version).
• Strong development experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, HTML, and CSS.
• Proven expertise in SharePoint and Project Server environments, including both on-premise and online versions, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
• Experience working as an Application Analyst, Functional Analyst, Technical Analyst, or Solution Architect.
• Comfortable managing end-to-end development initiatives, from requirements gathering and analysis through development, deployment, and post-production support.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with complex planning, scheduling, or capacity management processes in industrial, operational, or technically demanding environments.
• Strong background in business process management and process modeling methodologies.
• Knowledge of change management frameworks such as ADKAR.
• Experience working with structured project methodologies such as PM² or similar frameworks.
• Ability to bridge business and technical stakeholders while delivering pragmatic and scalable solutions.
