We're looking for a talented individual to join our client's team and play a significant role in optimizing their operational effectiveness as part of a digital transformation initiative. Our client is dedicated to modernizing processes and enhancing service delivery to meet the needs of stakeholders. In this context, your responsibilities will revolve around leading a dynamic application team focused on ensuring the smooth operation of essential software used in practical fieldwork.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be at the forefront of facilitating communications and collaboration among various teams to ensure alignment and efficiency. You will oversee daily scrums, serve as the primary interface between developers and stakeholders, and promote best practices within the organization. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring optimal functioning and alignment of technical teams, both internally and externally.
- Facilitating the daily scrum processes.
- Act as a liaison between the development team and business stakeholders.
- Reviewing and updating existing documentation to maintain quality.
- Communicating effectively at various levels: management, end users, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Defining methodologies for team operations to enhance processes and implementing necessary safeguards.
- Supervising and prioritizing the backlog, assisting with ticket creation and prioritization for the development team.
- Involvement in decision-making for the current sprint to maximize value delivery.
- Coaching and supporting your colleagues to foster growth.
The Ideal Candidate
The right candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach, strong customer orientation, and resilience under pressure. You should have a solid background in:
- Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Expertise in Change Management and Communication.
- Experience in project/application management, including Incident and Problem Management.
- People management skills to effectively lead and develop a team.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, with French as an additional language being a plus.
You will need to showcase your capability to manage multiple stakeholders, navigate complex requirements, and support autonomous operational units while maintaining alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications
Our client seeks candidates who have substantial knowledge and experience in the public sector as well as a high level of competency in managing application projects. Additional expertise areas include:
- Expert level in Change Management and Project/Application Management.
- Experienced in Incident/Problem Management.
- Proficient in Agile methodologies, preferable with a background as a Product Owner.
- Strong communication skills to help in managing expectations and relationships.
