We’re looking for an experienced Application Transition Coordinator to support our client during a large-scale IT service transformation program. In this strategic role, you will coordinate knowledge management optimization and oversee the transition of application support services between managed service providers across complex enterprise environments. This position is ideal for a senior IT service management professional with strong governance, stakeholder coordination, and transition management expertise.
Your Responsibilities
You will play a key role across two major transition phases:
Knowledge Management & Service Readiness
- Analyze existing knowledge bases and identify gaps impacting incident resolution, request fulfilment, and operational support;
- Coordinate the creation, validation, and maintenance of structured knowledge articles and operational documentation;
- Collaborate with SMEs, service desk teams, support towers, and process owners to improve knowledge quality and accessibility;
- Ensure compliance with established Knowledge Management processes, templates, governance, and lifecycle management practices;
- Monitor documentation maturity across application, infrastructure, network, and end-user support domains;
- Track progress, open actions, risks, approvals, and review cycles while providing reporting to stakeholders and management.
Application Support Transition Coordination
- Coordinate the end-to-end transition of application support ownership between outsourcing partners;
- Review transition plans, governance processes, acceptance criteria, and operational readiness activities;
- Monitor knowledge transfer sessions, shadowing activities, supplier readiness, staffing, and support coverage;
- Follow up proactively on deviations, documentation quality issues, and operational risks;
- Ensure continuity and stability of RUN operations throughout the transition period;
- Manage dependencies, escalations, timelines, and stakeholder communication across multiple application domains.
Technical Environment & Expertise
Our client is seeking a senior professional with proven experience in:
- IT Service Management and enterprise support environments;
- ServiceNow ITSM tooling;
- Knowledge Management processes and service desk operations;
- Large-scale application landscapes and support models;
- Vendor and outsourcing transition management;
- Governance, reporting, risk management, and operational coordination;
- Managing application documentation, runbooks, support procedures, inventories, and configuration data.
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 15 years of professional IT experience;
- Strong experience managing service transitions between outsourcing or managed service providers;
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills within complex enterprise organizations;
- Ability to manage priorities, timelines, dependencies, and risks across multiple workstreams;
- Structured, proactive, and highly organized working style;
- Fluent communication skills in Dutch, French, and English (written and spoken);
- Available onsite in Brussels at least two days per week.
