We’re looking for a seasoned Lead Architect to join our client’s team and drive strategic architecture initiatives within a complex cross-border business environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business and technology, shaping scalable digital ecosystems and modern data platforms while guiding teams toward a unified architectural vision.

Role & Responsibilities

As Lead Architect, you will play a pivotal role in assessing and evolving the technology landscape, ensuring alignment with business goals and future scalability:

• Evaluate and document the current technology landscape across logistics and transport platforms
• Define and implement scalable, secure, and modular architecture frameworks for digital services
• Design a modern data platform architecture (e.g., lakehouse, data mesh) and define key data products
• Support architecture design for e-commerce integrations and API-driven services
• Review and validate technical designs to ensure consistency, scalability, and resilience
• Guide the adoption of microservices and product-centric architecture models
• Provide expertise in event-driven architecture, including event streaming and schema governance

Collaboration, Governance & Innovation

You will work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to architectural excellence across the organization:

• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and analysts to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Align with external partners and distributed teams to ensure seamless delivery
• Contribute to architecture governance and quality standards across domains
• Stay up to date with cloud-native technologies, data platforms, and digital ecosystems
• Ensure adherence to data security standards and establish governance for APIs and schemas
• Promote best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

Profile & Qualifications

We are looking for a strong technical leader with a strategic mindset and the ability to inspire teams:

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture, ideally within logistics, transport, or e-commerce domains
• Proven experience with data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks), microservices architectures (Java, PHP, Python), and API ecosystems
• Solid understanding of event-driven architecture and related technologies (e.g., Kafka, schema management)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, RDS, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch); Azure is a plus
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and secure development lifecycles
• Strong knowledge of domain-driven design, product-oriented architecture, and API-driven systems
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS)
• Understanding of modern data concepts such as data mesh, lakehouse, and governance frameworks
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business stakeholders
• Proven leadership experience, including mentoring teams and driving architectural vision through influence
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
