Architect Security (junior)

We're looking for an experienced consultant to join our client’s team, focusing on the design, oversight, and continuous improvement of their application security framework. In this strategic role, you will translate high-level security objectives into actionable DevSecOps architectural principles and technical solutions, collaborating closely with development teams, fellow architects, and various stakeholders such as risk, compliance, and management.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Integrating security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC), encompassing design, build, test, and deployment phases.
• Automating security controls within CI/CD pipelines.
• Conducting threat modeling, code reviews, and architectural evaluations.
• Defining security guardrails and secure coding standards.
• Advising on API security, container security, and cloud-native architectures, particularly within Azure.
• Supporting incident analysis and vulnerability management.
• Monitoring threats, vulnerabilities, and market developments.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in the following areas:

• Architecting IT security solutions.
• Risk management and secure software architecture.
• Automating security controls within CI/CD environments.
• Defining guardrails and secure coding practices.
• Successfully implementing DevSecOps methodologies.
• A relevant master's degree.
• Fluency in Dutch or French at CEFR level C1 and proficiency in the other language at B2 level.
• Knowledge and experience with ITIL are preferable.

• Proven experience with integrating security in the SDLC.
• Ability to monitor and respond to evolving threats and vulnerabilities in the IT landscape.
