Automated Software Tester

We're looking for a skilled consultant to join our client's dynamic team in the energy sector. This opportunity allows you to contribute to the pivotal improvements in energy sustainability and infrastructure across Europe. Responsibilities

Your mission will encompass a variety of crucial tasks aimed at maintaining high-quality standards. These will include:

• Writing comprehensive test plans and scenarios based on existing documentation and functionalities.
• Preparing test data prior to executing test scenarios.
• Executing test scenarios and documenting results meticulously, ensuring clarity and accessibility for European stakeholders.
• Selecting appropriate test cases for integration into an automated test suite and implementing test automation.
• Reporting and managing defects using bug-tracking tools and upholding quality collaboration with developers and project leaders.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience in test plan creation and test scenario writing.
• A solid background in test automation, alongside programming or scripting knowledge (such as Python).
• Basic knowledge of databases (both SQL and NoSQL) and querying.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
• Familiarity with RobotFramework is advantageous.
• Fluent English skills are essential, with proficiency in French and/or Dutch as a strong asset.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work autonomously or in a team.
• A basic understanding of various IT concepts such as Services, Clients, APIs, and different environments (frontend/backend).
• Additional knowledge in areas like RabbitMQ and security testing is highly desirable.
