Backend .NET Developer

Function

We're looking for an experienced Senior Backend .NET Developer to join our client's agile development team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of reusable backend components while ensuring the quality, scalability, and performance of business-critical applications. Working in a collaborative Agile/SAFe environment, you will partner with developers, testers, product owners, and Scrum Masters to deliver high-quality software through iterative development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reusable backend components using C# and .NET Core.
• Translate functional requirements into robust technical specifications and reusable framework components for development teams.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues, including second-line support for software defects.
• Improve software quality by implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and unit tests to ensure reliable development, testing, and production environments.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Contribute to technical documentation, share knowledge within the team, and review documentation created by less experienced developers.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, development practices, and industry trends to continuously improve processes and technical solutions.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent through relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a .NET Developer.
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, backend development, and software architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and modern software development practices.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, preferably within a SAFe environment.
• Dutch or French as your primary language, with a basic understanding and communication skills in the second national language. Reading comprehension of English is required.
