Backend Solution Expert

Function

We're looking for an experienced Backend Solution Expert to join our client's team and support a large-scale transformation of a mission-critical digital platform. In this role, you will combine deep domain expertise with strong technical knowledge to ensure the stability of the existing environment while supporting the successful migration to a next-generation platform. You will work closely with internal teams, business stakeholders, and external technology partners throughout the transition.

Role & Responsibilities

As Backend Solution Expert, you will play a key role in maintaining operational continuity while supporting testing and migration activities across the platform landscape.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating and managing changes within the existing production environment.
• Ensuring the stability, continuity, and reliability of production systems.
• Supporting the controlled decommissioning of legacy components in line with the migration roadmap.
• Managing and maintaining test environments to support development, integration, and migration activities.
• Ensuring test environments accurately reflect production configurations where required.
• Coordinating the availability of test platforms with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.
• Supporting all phases of migration testing, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and pre-production validation.
• Facilitating the transition from legacy systems to the new platform by identifying and resolving issues at an early stage.
• Contributing to production readiness and successful deployment activities.

Technical Profile

We are looking for a senior backend specialist with extensive experience in complex, transaction-driven platform environments and large-scale migration projects.

You bring:

• Minimum 10 years of experience within complex gaming or transaction processing environments.
• Extensive knowledge of draw-based games, instant games, and digital gaming solutions.
• Strong understanding of multiple sales channels, including retail, digital B2C, and B2B environments.
• Proven experience with enterprise gaming platforms and their complete game lifecycle management.
• Experience with business intelligence and reporting solutions within large transactional environments.
• Knowledge of multi-system integrations involving enterprise applications, digital platforms, and third-party solutions.
• Experience integrating backend platforms with enterprise systems such as ERP, collaboration platforms, warehouse management systems, and other business applications.
• Strong expertise in software testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and migration validation.
• Experience planning and coordinating testing activities during complex platform migration projects.
