Blockchain Software Engineer

Function

We are looking for an experienced software engineering consultant to join our client's team and contribute to the development of innovative digital asset and blockchain-based solutions. In this role, you will be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications that support next-generation financial and digital asset services. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders in an Agile environment to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand functional and technical specifications to deliver robust backend solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and integrations.
• Create technical designs and program structures aligned with architectural guidelines.
• Develop and execute test cases and support technical integration testing with interfacing systems.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to maintaining high development standards.
• Update technical documentation and ensure design changes are accurately reflected.
• Investigate, resolve, and track incidents and defects through to closure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features within agreed timelines.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and practices.

Technical Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in backend software development.
• Strong experience working in Agile development environments.
• Hands-on experience with blockchain technologies and distributed ledger platforms.
• Proven expertise in connecting to EVM-compatible blockchain networks.
• Strong knowledge of smart contract development and blockchain integrations.
• Experience with on-chain and off-chain system integrations.
• Knowledge of digital asset platforms, cryptocurrency ecosystems, programmable money, tokenization, or related financial technologies.
• Experience with custody solutions and Hardware Security Modules (HSM) is considered a strong asset.
• Expert-level knowledge of Solidity is required.
