Function

Our client is looking for an experienced business analyst to support a portfolio of projects linked to ongoing changes and innovation in the energy market. In this role, you will act as a key connector between market processes, data management, business transformation, and multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take on a business analyst role within one or more projects supported by the market coordination function.
• Monitor content dependencies with other projects and work closely with fellow business analysts.
• Facilitate discussions between process owners, business process analysts, and internal or external experts using best-practice approaches, while supporting change acceptance.
• Provide subject-matter expertise, support project leads with content-related input, and perform peer reviews of deliverables.
• Document, follow up, and structure working group discussions and decisions in a clear and traceable way.
• Maintain oversight of topics under analysis, manage shifting priorities, and communicate progress transparently to the team and stakeholders.
• Develop overarching communication and training materials.
• Prepare and actively participate in internal and external working groups.
• Analyze new initiatives and change requests in depth, considering both the market perspective and the organization’s perspective.
• Define end-to-end test scenarios and support their execution.
• Support migration and transition activities.

Technical Skills

• Proven experience as a business analyst or functional analyst.
• Experience in change management, including training and learning-related activities.
• Experience in the energy sector.
• Knowledge of MIG4/MIG6.
• Experience in quality management and testing activities.
• Experience with business process development and optimization.
• Strong communication skills, demonstrated during interview.
• Knowledge of DM Measure processes, demonstrated during interview.

Profile

• Ability to work across multiple initiatives while keeping an overview of priorities and interdependencies.
• Comfortable facilitating discussions and aligning different stakeholders around shared outcomes.
• Structured, analytical, and able to translate complex topics into clear documentation and follow-up.
• Hands-on mindset with a strong focus on collaboration, quality, and change adoption.
• Stakeholder management experience is considered an advantage.

Practical Information

• Language requirement: fluent Dutch at CEFR level C2.
• Fluent English.
