Function

We are seeking a versatile and experienced Project Engineer – Business Analyst to support and streamline various software and automation projects. You will play a critical role in bridging business needs and technical execution, combining strong analytical skills with a hands-on approach to project delivery and validation.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage and track project scope, objectives, and planning within a Scrum/Agile framework.

• Leverage your UX/UI knowledge to provide recommendations that enhance user-centric design in ongoing projects.

• Conduct Computer Systems Validation (CSV) and Computer Systems Assurance (CSA) activities.

• Define and document test scenarios using Gherkin syntax.

• Write qualification protocols and participate in software testing, including headless applications.

• Perform risk assessments and support compliance-related evaluations.

• Assist in creating user manuals, technical documentation, and supporting materials for project components.

• Efficiently switch between multiple concurrent projects while maintaining clear oversight.

• Provide second-line support during daily operations, helping resolve issues that go beyond first-line intervention.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in (Computer) Sciences, Automation, or equivalent through experience.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial or automation setting.

• At least 3 years of experience in software development or software project execution.

• Strong analytical and structured mindset with an innovative and pragmatic approach.

• Proven experience in writing functional specifications.

• Familiarity with problem-solving techniques, troubleshooting, and data analysis.

• Affinity with front-end concepts; knowledge of Figma or basic front-end development is a plus.

• Experience with testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger.io for API/headless systems, or Cucumber, Cypress for GUIs) is highly desirable.

• Excellent multitasker with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple projects.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to cloud-native application development.

• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 and IoT platforms.

• Experience collaborating with external partners in process automation projects.
