Business Analyst
Function
We’re looking for an experienced consultant to support our client in a strategic migration project within the individual life insurance domain. You will play a key role in analyzing, testing, and coordinating activities to ensure a smooth transition from the existing system to the target environment. This assignment requires deep expertise in life insurance products, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will contribute to the successful migration of individual life insurance policies by taking ownership of key analysis, testing, and coordination tasks:

Analysis

Assess product and process differences between the source and target systems for life insurance policy migration

Define and document requirements following established quality standards

Identify process impacts related to the migration

Ensure clear understanding and alignment between business and IT stakeholders

Testing
-
Prepare and execute process and calculation tests to validate expected outcomes

Monitoring
-
Serve as an intermediary between business and IT teams
-
Provide regular reporting on activity progress

You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders (IT, Operations, Business, Distribution, etc.) and build strong, trust-based relationships with both internal clients and external partners.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Our client is looking for a professional who brings:

Solid knowledge of individual life insurance products and processes

Mandatory expertise in “Classique” life insurance products

Experience with life insurance migration projects

Proven success as a Business Analyst

Strong commitment to quality, deadlines, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset

Autonomy, flexibility, and the ability to obtain and synthesize essential information

A university degree in mathematics or equivalent experience

At least 5 years of experience in the life insurance sector

Familiarity with at least one standard business or process analysis methodology

Fluency in French and English; Dutch is an asset

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively

A pragmatic approach, attention to detail, and the ability to determine the right level of abstraction depending on the context

Excellent communication skills across varied audiences (actuaries, IT specialists, management, etc.)
