We're looking for a consultant to join our client's team, where you will leverage your expertise to analyze and enhance the daily banking operations. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to address issues and propose effective solutions to improve existing processes.
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing and evaluating incoming change requests or projects.
- Identifying solutions alongside colleagues and assessing different options.
- Translating business needs into clear business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Acting as an interface with stakeholders and bridging the gap between business needs and IT.
- Defining the business scope, target operating model, and relevant interfaces.
- Preparing cases for Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) and organizing or executing the testing process.
- Following up on the implementation of changes to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Master's degree in Business Management or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience, specifically in a banking environment.
- Technical knowledge of daily banking systems, particularly those combining mainframe and distributed applications.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conceptualize complex business topics and their relations to IT.
- Proficiency in English, Dutch, and French with strong written and spoken communication skills.
- A meticulous and quality-minded approach, alongside a goal-oriented mentality.
- A hands-on understanding of project management methodologies, preferably Agile, and familiarity with business analysis methods and tools.
