Function

We're looking for a skilled consultant to join our client's team and support global initiatives aimed at digitalizing the airline industry. This role involves collaborating with a variety of functional teams and providing valuable insights to improve operations across multiple regions, including Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. You will be instrumental in the analysis, testing, and implementation of tools that enhance the experiences of both colleagues and customers, providing daily application support within the relevant portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Engage with the Airline center of excellence, acquiring in-depth knowledge of processes, systems, and users throughout the transport network.
  • Assist both functional and technical experts in the documentation, implementation, and support of systems.
  • Provide application support for Quality, Safety, Training, and Crew Planning solutions.
  • Analyze and validate user change requests to foster continuous enhancement.
  • Collaborate closely with aviation experts, IT functions, and third-party software suppliers.
  • Champion changewith a strong understanding of the aviation sector within a regulated environment.
  • Manage customizations and functions throughout all project stages, including writing requirements, preparing test cases, coordinating with stakeholders, and supporting end-user training.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Master's degree or equivalent experience, with a background in the airline industry (specifically Flight Operations or Crew Planning) strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Quality & Safety, Training Management, or Crew Planning tools—exposure to systems such as EFOS, Pelesys, iSQMS, Webmanuals, or AIMS is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in an analytical, application support, project-oriented, or operational aviation role.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with logical thinking skills related to data, systems, and processes.
  • Excellent coordination capabilities, with the ability to operate with minimal supervision while engaging relevant stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written, ensuring clear and concise communication.
  • Solid IT skills, particularly with platforms such as ServiceNow, JIRA, and QTest.
  • Project management experience or knowledge of managing work packs is preferred.

This position is focused on application support rather than IT development.

Fluency in both English and Dutch is required for this role.

We encourage agencies to submit candidates with a brief motivation explaining why they are a suitable match for this opportunity, highlighting their relevant experience, alignment with the industry focus, and the value they would bring to our client.
