Business Analyst
Function
We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our client’s team and support the optimization and evolution of a security and safety monitoring platform. In this role, you will focus on analyzing operational workflows, translating business needs into functional requirements, and improving processes related to security operations and technical alarm management. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including operational teams, IT specialists, and external service partners, to ensure that workflows and systems operate efficiently across a multi-site environment.
Role & Responsibilities
As Business Analyst, you will analyze, optimize, and design workflows that support security and operational monitoring processes.

Analyze existing business processes and operational workflows linked to the monitoring platform.

Review and optimize existing workflows within the platform environment and identify improvement opportunities.

Adapt or extend current workflows to improve operational efficiency and system integration.

Clarify and further detail previously identified change requests from operational stakeholders.

Conduct functional analysis for new change requests and translate business needs into structured requirements.

Provide clear functional and technical input to technical partners responsible for implementation.

Define and document alarm handling workflows, including both business-driven and purely technical alarm scenarios.

Collaborate with technical teams to design automated flows for technical alarms without manual intervention.

Analyze the operation of fire detection systems and define operational schemes aligned with internal procedures.

Develop process documentation and workflow diagrams supporting operational and safety procedures.
Profile & Experience
Our client is seeking a consultant with strong analytical capabilities and experience working with complex operational workflows in safety or security environments.

Master’s degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

Experience with process analysis and modeling methodologies such as BPMN and DMN.

Experience working with workflow-driven platforms comparable to monitoring, building management, or case management systems.

Familiarity with environments involving security or safety processes such as surveillance systems, fire detection, access control, or intrusion monitoring.

Proven experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

Ability to analyze and optimize existing workflows, including mapping, rules definition, alarm routing, and integrations.

Experience facilitating workshops, documenting requirements, and supporting implementation teams.

Ability to perform gap analyses, troubleshoot workflow issues, and design future-state processes.

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and operational stakeholders.

Comfortable facilitating workshops and producing clear documentation.

Able to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with stakeholders.

Fluent in Dutch, French, and English (Dutch or French at C2 level, the other language at least C level, English at minimum B2).
