We're looking for an experienced Business Process Consultant to join our client's team and play a key role in a strategic business transformation initiative. In this position, you will assess existing business operations and application landscapes, with a particular focus on identifying systems that are approaching end-of-life and defining the requirements for future-state solutions. Working closely with a diverse group of stakeholders, you will help shape streamlined processes and translate business needs into practical, scalable solutions that support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and map current business processes, operational domains, and supporting applications.
• Gather, challenge, and translate stakeholder requirements into clear business and solution concepts.
• Produce high-level deliverables such as capability maps, domain models, process documentation, and conceptual solution designs.
• Convert business needs into functional and technical requirements that can be effectively implemented by development teams.
• Identify gaps in existing systems and processes and define opportunities for optimization and modernization.
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives by providing insights into emerging technologies, process improvements, and innovative ways of working.
• Act as a trusted advisor in business process optimization and business process re-engineering efforts.

The Ideal Candidate

You bring a strong combination of business analysis, process improvement, and ICT expertise, with the ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. You are comfortable operating in complex environments and have a proven track record of driving process and system improvements.

Key requirements include:

• Proven experience analyzing and improving business operations supported by ICT applications.
• Hands-on experience with case management systems.
• Strong expertise in Business Process Management (BPM) and process analysis methodologies.
• Experience working in compliance, regulatory, inspection, or governance-driven environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and requirements elicitation skills.
• Ability to translate business objectives into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Native-level or C2 Dutch language proficiency and strong English communication skills.

The following are considered strong assets:

• Experience conducting market research or solution evaluations.
• Knowledge of solution architecture principles.
• Familiarity with project management disciplines, including planning, coordination, budgeting, estimation, and timeline management.
