Business Analyst

Function

We're looking for a consultant to join our client's team and help bridge the gap between business needs and IT solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to understand challenges, define requirements, improve processes, and ensure that technology initiatives deliver measurable business value.

Responsibilities & Tasks

As part of the team, you will:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, opportunities, and desired outcomes.
• Analyse existing business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and define optimized future-state processes.
• Facilitate workshops to gather, challenge, and validate business needs.
• Translate business needs into clear and structured requirements, including acceptance criteria.
• Document as-is and to-be processes using business process modelling techniques such as BPMN.
• Ensure a clear separation between business requirements and technical implementation.
• Work closely with IT teams, Functional Analysts, Architects, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Support procurement activities by defining business needs and evaluating potential solutions.
• Contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing business scenarios and validating delivered solutions.
• Assess the impact of changes and support change management activities to ensure successful adoption.
• Assist in the creation of communication and training materials for end users.
• Gather feedback and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Profile & Experience

The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of analytical skills, business understanding, and stakeholder management experience. You have:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A process-oriented mindset with the ability to understand complex business environments.
• Experience translating business requirements into structured documentation.
• Knowledge of business process modelling principles (BPMN).
• Experience with change management concepts and methodologies such as ADKAR or Kotter.
• The ability to assess business impact and support transformation initiatives.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills.

Additional Requirements

• Experience with process improvement initiatives is a plus.
• Experience working in IT delivery environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with user adoption and organisational change initiatives is an advantage.
• Experience within the automotive industry is considered a plus.
• Fluency in English and Dutch is required.
