Business Analyst

Function

We’re looking for a Business Analyst (or senior functional analyst) to join our client’s team and help business users turn ideas into secure, scalable digital solutions. In this role, you will act as the bridge between business, IT, security, risk and compliance, supporting the use of low-code, analytics and data processing tools while ensuring strong governance and quality standards.

You will work closely with business stakeholders and citizen developers to guide solutions from initial concept through to implementation and ongoing maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business needs and translate them into efficient, sustainable and scalable solutions.
• Support business users and citizen developers in designing, building and maintaining end-user developed applications.
• Advise stakeholders on the most suitable tools, technologies and implementation approaches.
• Promote the adoption of low-code, analytics and data processing solutions across business teams.
• Ensure that security, privacy, risk and compliance requirements are respected throughout the full solution lifecycle.
• Identify risks, improvement opportunities and optimisation potential within existing solutions.
• Collaborate closely with business, IT, security, risk and compliance teams.
• Contribute to governance frameworks, standards, guidelines and best practices.

Tools & Technologies

The ideal consultant has experience with, or a strong interest in, several of the following technologies:

• Low-code & automation: Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power BI
• Visual analytics & reporting: Qlik Sense, Amazon QuickSight, Power BI
• Data processing & advanced analytics: SAS, Python
• Collaboration & productivity: Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, Excel, Forms

Profile

• Experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong skills in requirements analysis and stakeholder management.
• Interest in low-code/no-code, data analytics and digital transformation.
• Affinity with security, privacy, risk management and compliance.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to guide both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, structured and coaching-oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of GDPR, data privacy, Agile/Scrum or Business Process Management is a strong plus.
• Languages: English and Dutch.
