We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our client's team and contribute to a challenging, high-impact initiative within a complex IT and infrastructure environment. In this role, you will analyse existing systems and processes, help define the future-state architecture, and support the transition from project implementation to operational management. You'll work closely with various stakeholders and technical partners, ensuring that requirements, solutions, and deliverables are clearly defined, well documented, and aligned.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse existing IT infrastructure, including server environments, hardware, connected devices, and supporting software solutions.
  • Assess the current setup and contribute to defining the target state, identifying opportunities to reuse, optimise, or repurpose existing technologies and infrastructure.
  • Translate business and technical needs into clear functional and technical requirements, process models, and design documentation.
  • Define and document processes, procedures, and requirements to facilitate a seamless transition towards operational support.
  • Identify tasks, dependencies, potential risks, and constraints, taking into account feasibility, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Monitor and report project progress to relevant stakeholders, highlighting key developments, challenges, bottlenecks, risks, and possible mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain structured documentation, decision logs, and quality management records to ensure consistency and compliance with agreed standards.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure all relevant information is captured and accessible to support long-term operational continuity.
  • Contribute to the development of a sustainable and scalable IT ecosystem, considering future expansion, capacity requirements, and integration with other systems.
  • Support privacy-related assessments and other impact analyses in collaboration with relevant subject matter experts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment, quality, and successful delivery.

Your Profile

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in business analysis and/or ICT project support.
  • Proven experience working in complex IT environments; experience within the public sector is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with process modelling, requirements management, and project management or tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with MS Visio, JIRA, Confluence, or comparable tools.
  • Knowledge of monitoring solutions and the definition of monitoring parameters is an asset.
  • An interest in or familiarity with camera technology, automated recognition systems, or related operational processes is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to process complex information and translate it into actionable insights.
  • A structured, accurate, and objective approach to reporting, with an eye for detail and the ability to maintain an overview.
  • Proactive and results-driven, with the ability to work independently, take ownership, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
  • A curious and collaborative mindset, comfortable asking critical questions and actively listening to different perspectives.
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and professional when handling confidential or sensitive information.
