Function
We’re looking for a Business Analyst / Process Engineer consultant to join our client’s team within a highly collaborative environment focused on financial services processes related to lending, risk, and credit activities. The role sits within a multidisciplinary setup where the emphasis is on delivering efficient, compliant, and customer-centric solutions while continuously improving operational performance.
Responsibilities & Role
- Act as a key contributor in defining, designing, implementing, and maintaining business solutions with a strong focus on value creation, efficiency, and risk mitigation
- Gather, analyze, and translate stakeholder needs into clear business and functional requirements, including acceptance criteria
- Support the definition of product concepts, objectives, and key results (OKRs), and contribute to business case development and prioritization
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business, IT, UX, architecture, and third parties to design and implement processes and solutions
- Ensure continuous improvement of existing processes through analysis, redesign, and performance measurement
- Identify, define, and test changes to applications and processes, ensuring alignment with business needs
- Maintain clear, structured, and accessible documentation to support standardization, incident resolution, and operational continuity
- Ensure processes and documentation comply with internal and external regulations, including legal, compliance, and control standards
Agile Way of Working
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary agile team contributing to the delivery of features within iterative sprints
- Participate actively in backlog refinement, Quarterly Agile Planning (QAP), and sprint ceremonies
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to clarify requirements, prioritize work, and ensure alignment with business value
- Estimate tasks, manage your own workload, and contribute to delivering sprint commitments
- Stay connected with operational teams to ensure practical, real-world applicability of solutions
Profile & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in business analysis, process engineering, or a similar role
- Experience or strong interest in the Risk & Credit domain, with the ability to quickly acquire domain knowledge
- Solid understanding of business processes, process modeling, and process improvement methodologies
- Experience working in an Agile environment is required
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure complex requirements and understand financial services contexts
- Experience with process management tools is required
- Knowledge of automation opportunities (e.g., AI, robotics) is considered an asset
- Familiarity with business architecture, data management, and IT/automation concepts is a plus
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to present and explain complex ideas clearly
Languages & Additional Requirements
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in French or Dutch
- Speak both national language is a plus
- Strong client- and user-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
