Change Manager Data Expert

We’re looking for a Change Manager to join our client’s team, driving transformation in their data environment. This role bridges strategic goals with operational change, helping teams embrace new ways of working, processes, technologies, and roles. The ideal candidate combines strong experience in change management with a hands-on approach to guiding teams through complex transformations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and shape change initiatives within data-driven environments, including data platform transitions, process digitalization, governance implementations, and data quality programs.
• Develop, refine, and implement change strategies aligned with the broader organizational vision and change management approach.
• Facilitate adoption and behavioral change through workshops, coaching, training, communication, and continuous feedback mechanisms.
• Assess the maturity of the data organization, identifying needs in structure, roles, processes, and competencies.
• Build and strengthen competency frameworks for data profiles and support employees in their career growth.
• Engage and inform stakeholders across multiple teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
• Monitor and evaluate change impact using KPIs on adoption, team satisfaction, maturity, and process effectiveness.

Profile / Ideal Candidate

• Proven expertise in Change Management, particularly in complex data-driven transformations.
• Strong familiarity with the ADKAR change model and Prosci methodology.
• Experience with modern data architecture, data platforms, and technology ecosystems.
• Understanding of typical roles within a data organization and their corresponding skill sets.
• Skilled in incident and change management practices.
• Higher education degree (Bachelor or Master).
• Language proficiency: English and Dutch (C2 level).
• Experience in Asset Management, data governance, and facilitating large-scale data initiatives is a plus.

Skills & Requirements

Must have:

• 10+ years of experience in Change Management.
• Hands-on experience in guiding complex transformations in data-driven environments.
• Expertise with ADKAR change model.
• Knowledge of data architecture, platforms, and modern data technologies.
• Incident and change management experience.
• Understanding of data organization roles and skillsets.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• NDA and IT code compliance.
• Dutch and English proficiency (CEFR C2).

Preferred / Nice to have:

• Experience in Asset Management.
• ADKAR Prosci experience.
• Data governance experience.
• Experience facilitating change initiatives like data platform transitions or data quality programs.
• Ability to develop a vision for the evolution of data teams, capacity, and processes.
