CISO Domain Lead

We're looking for a highly experienced IT Resilience professional to join our client's team for a long-term consulting assignment. In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening and maintaining the organisation's resilience capabilities, with a particular focus on disaster recovery and business continuity. You will leverage your extensive IT background to support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of resilience strategies and processes within a complex IT environment. Close collaboration with internal stakeholders will be essential to ensure that solutions are aligned with operational requirements and business expectations.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of IT resilience capabilities.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives, ensuring alignment with operational needs and business requirements.
• Help establish and improve resilience processes, taking into account the specific challenges of complex IT environments.
• Ensure that continuity and recovery plans are robust, properly documented and aligned with organisational expectations.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to support the successful delivery of resilience-related activities.
• Contribute expertise and practical recommendations to strengthen the organisation's overall resilience and recovery capabilities.

Profile & Experience

• At least 15 years of professional experience within the IT sector.
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience in IT resilience, disaster recovery and/or business continuity.
• Master's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven track record of successfully establishing or implementing disaster recovery and/or business continuity capabilities in comparable environments.
• Strong technical understanding of IT resilience principles, recovery strategies and business continuity practices.
• Experience operating within complex and demanding IT environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with different teams and organisational levels.
• A recommendation letter from a previous employer or client demonstrating successful experience in setting up disaster recovery or business continuity must be included as the final page of the CV.
