Cloud Engineer

Function

Our cloud team is growing and therefore we are looking for an Azure Infrastructure Consultant, who will use his/her expertise to advise our customers on migrating to the cloud.

• You will be responsible for designing, setting up, migrating, managing and maintaining cloud environments.
• You accurately capture the customer's needs and work out a tailor-made solution, attaching importance to security by design. You help develop a future-proof cloud vision and advise on the short- and long-term strategy.
• You organise workshops to inform clients and help them make the right choice (on premise, hybrid, hosted private cloud or public cloud).
• You closely follow the latest developments of Microsoft Azure and actively participate in knowledge sharing via various channels.
• Depending on your experience and interest, you can take on more responsibilities as a team lead, in presales, sales delivery, project management, service desk, as a specialist or architect.

Profile

• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT supplemented by at least 3 years' experience as an IT consultant.
• You are completely at home in the Microsoft Azure suite: in addition to a good knowledge of the Compute, Identity & Security, Networking, Defender and Storage components, you have experience with the assessment and migration of workloads to Azure and you ensure good Azure governance such as policies, cost management, tagging, etc.
• Your drive, flexibility and broad IT baggage underpin your customer and solution focus.
• You have good communication and technical documentation skills in order to offer our customers a perfect service.
• You have one or more relevant certificates such as AZ-104, AZ-700, AZ-500, AZ-140, AZ-305 or are willing to obtain one or more of these. Naturally, you will receive the necessary support from us in this.
