We’re looking for a Cloud Technical Architect with a strong focus on Kubernetes to join our client’s team. In this role, you will drive the design, governance, and optimization of cloud platforms across hybrid environments, ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence in a complex enterprise landscape.

The Role
You will act as both a technical leader and application owner for Kubernetes-based platforms, ensuring full lifecycle accountability while shaping cloud architecture in alignment with business and IT strategy. Working closely with other architects and stakeholders, you will define standards, guide implementations, and continuously enhance platform performance.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of Kubernetes-based platforms and workloads across public cloud and on-prem environments, ensuring availability, security, compliance, and lifecycle management
• Design and govern scalable, secure cloud architectures aligned with enterprise strategy, defining standards, building blocks, and reference patterns
• Continuously optimize platform performance, reliability, and efficiency, driving improvements based on business and operational needs
• Lead feasibility studies and impact analyses, evaluating architectural, operational, and financial implications of changes
• Apply FinOps principles to ensure cost transparency and efficiency across cloud environments
• Provide expert technical leadership, mentoring team members and promoting best practices
• Oversee and validate deliverables from external partners, ensuring quality, compliance, and alignment with architectural standards
• Support hybrid cloud strategies, ensuring seamless integration between public cloud and on-premise systems

Profile & Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure and production-grade cloud environments
• Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes, covering both platform management and application workloads
• Strong background in hybrid architectures, including connectivity, governance, and operational consistency across environments
• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform
• Demonstrated ability to define and enforce architecture standards within complex enterprise environments
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in feasibility studies and impact assessments
• Experience applying FinOps practices for cost optimization and governance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and guide technical and non-technical audiences
• Fluent in English, with proficiency in at least one local language and willingness to strengthen another
• Available for a hybrid work model, including regular on-site presence
