Cobol Developer

Function

Our client is looking for an experienced COBOL developer to support the creation of a new functionality.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will contribute to the implementation, maintenance, and impact management of the developed applications. You will work within the central system to design, build, and test new transaction products and management products defined during analysis, while also supporting the ongoing adaptation, optimization, and evolution of existing functionality.

• Implement and maintain COBOL-based applications within a mainframe environment.
• Develop and test new transaction and management products.
• Support impact analysis and application maintenance.
• Continuously improve and extend existing system functionality.

Technical Skills

• Strong COBOL expertise is required.
• Experience as a mainframe developer is expected.

Profile

• Proven experience in a mainframe development environment.
• Hands-on background in COBOL development.
• Ability to work on both new developments and ongoing system enhancements.

Practical Information

• Languages: Dutch or French, plus English.
