We’re looking for a highly skilled Cryptography Consultant to support our client in the setup of an innovative Proof of Concept focused on advanced citizen identifier pseudonymization. This assignment requires a senior expert with deep technical and mathematical expertise in Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), capable of contributing to cutting-edge privacy-preserving solutions in a highly secure environment.
Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced crypto specialist with at least 7 years of hands-on experience in advanced cryptographic technologies, particularly Fully Homomorphic Encryption. The consultant will provide technical expertise in the design and optimisation of a Proof of Concept, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and minimisation of computational and communication overhead. The assignment can be performed remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of a Proof of Concept related to secure pseudonymization technologies
- Provide deep technical expertise in Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE)
- Work with TFHE schemes and ideally CKKS implementations
- Contribute to efficient transciphering approaches using AES / FHE Oblivious AES enciphering
- Advise on FHE hardware acceleration and optimisation techniques
- Apply strong mathematical understanding of cryptographic algorithms to improve efficiency and performance
- Collaborate with technical stakeholders in a research-driven and security-sensitive environment
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven expertise in cryptography and advanced encryption techniques
- Strong practical and theoretical experience with TFHE and preferably CKKS
- Experience with FHE acceleration and transciphering mechanisms
- Ability to optimise cryptographic implementations for performance and scalability
- Knowledge of Rust or Java is considered an asset
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to operate autonomously in complex technical environments
