We’re looking for a Customer Master Data Officer to join our client’s team during a major enterprise transformation program. Our client is currently rolling out a large-scale SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementation designed to standardise processes, enhance operational efficiency, and accelerate digital transformation across the organisation. This is a unique opportunity to step into a key data role within a structured, compliance-driven environment.

The Role

You will temporarily reinforce the Customer Master Data & Privacy team, ensuring operational continuity while a senior team member is allocated to a strategic transformation initiative. Working under supervision and receiving on-the-job training, you will focus primarily on reducing an existing backlog of privacy-related requests within SAP CRM.

When capacity allows, you will also support data quality initiatives and customer data cleansing activities. You will operate in a highly confidential and regulated context, where accuracy, compliance, and time management are critical.

Responsibilities

Customer Privacy Management (under supervision)

  • Process incoming privacy-related requests in line with established procedures and GDPR legislation

  • Ensure proper prioritisation and timely handling of requests

  • Follow up with relevant stakeholders to guarantee correct execution

  • Report directly to the Customer Master Data Manager

Data Quality

  • Handle data-related requests according to defined procedures and internal guidelines

Multiple Cleansing

  • Process ad hoc “cleansing on demand” requests

  • Manage automatically generated cleansing cases in SAP CRM

  • Ensure all actions follow standard operating procedures and compliance requirements

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field

  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience with SAP CRM (on-premise) from a business user perspective

  • Proven knowledge of GDPR in accordance with Belgian legislation (Law of 25/05/18)

  • Experience in confidential or privacy-sensitive environments

  • Previous experience in a comparable function is a strong asset

  • Experience within a public or highly regulated organisation is a plus

  • C1/C2 level (written and spoken) in Dutch or French

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet time-bound deliverables

  • Experience operating in structured, compliance-driven environments
