We’re looking for a Customer Master Data Officer to join our client’s team and support critical customer data management activities during a major enterprise transformation program. In this role, you will temporarily reinforce a small but essential data management team, ensuring the proper handling of privacy-related requests and maintaining high data quality standards. You will contribute to operational continuity while key team members are involved in a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation initiative.

Role & Responsibilities
As Customer Master Data Officer, you will support daily operations related to customer data governance, privacy management, and data quality processes.

  • Process incoming privacy-related requests in line with established procedures and applicable GDPR legislation.

  • Prioritize and manage requests efficiently while ensuring compliance with defined timelines.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proper follow-up and resolution of privacy cases.

  • Provide regular updates and reporting to the Customer Data Manager.

  • Support data quality activities by handling requests according to defined procedures and guidelines.

  • Manage duplicate resolution and data cleansing activities through both manual requests and automated cleansing processes.

  • Contribute to maintaining accurate and reliable customer master data within the SAP CRM environment.

Profile & Experience
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented professional with experience in customer data management and strong awareness of privacy regulations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.

  • 2–5 years of experience working with SAP CRM (on-premise) from a business user perspective.

  • Proven knowledge of GDPR regulations, including the Belgian law of May 25, 2018.

  • Experience working in roles involving confidential data handling.

  • Previous experience in a comparable function involving customer data or privacy management.

  • Experience working in regulated or public-sector environments is considered an advantage.

  • Fluent in Dutch or French at C1/C2 level (written and spoken).
