Cybersecurity Program Manager
Function
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our client’s team, driving high-impact cybersecurity initiatives in a complex and fast-paced environment. This role sits at the heart of a strategic transformation program, working closely with security experts and senior stakeholders to deliver critical projects that strengthen resilience, traceability, and third-party risk management.
Role
As a Cybersecurity Project Manager, you will lead a portfolio of transversal initiatives from end to end, ensuring alignment with business priorities and regulatory expectations. You will collaborate closely with security and privacy specialists while reporting to senior leadership, acting as a key driver of delivery, coordination, and governance.
Responsibilities
- Project definition & planning
- Define scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables, and detailed roadmaps
- Establish resource plans and communication strategies
- Financial & budget management
- Build and monitor budgets, track variances, and ensure cost control
- Support financial discussions with sponsors and ensure return on investment
- Risk & dependency management
- Maintain structured risk logs and manage inter-project dependencies
- Identify critical paths and implement mitigation strategies
- Operational steering & reporting
- Lead governance meetings, workshops, and executive committees
- Provide clear reporting and support decision-making across cost, timeline, and quality
- Cybersecurity coordination
- Oversee key initiatives such as:
- Business continuity and disaster recovery (BCP/DRP, RTO/RPO)
- System monitoring and traceability (SIEM/SOC)
- Supply chain and third-party risk management
- Ensure alignment and integration across all project streams

Ways of working
You will apply a mix of methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and recognized frameworks such as PMI/PMBOK and PRINCE2. You will create and maintain key project documentation (project charter, project management plan, WBS, risk logs, decision registers) and facilitate structured rituals such as stand-ups, milestone reviews, and retrospectives.
Profile
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional IT or cybersecurity projects
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across technical and business teams
- Ability to translate technical and security requirements into actionable plans
- Comfortable managing trade-offs and driving decisions using concepts like technical debt and cost of non-quality
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical risks into business impact (e.g. service disruption, compliance issues, reputational risk)
