You’ll work at the intersection of data, reporting, and business needs, supporting informed decision-making while contributing to the continuous improvement and automation of reporting processes. This is a long-term consulting opportunity in a data-driven environment where analytical expertise and a proactive mindset are highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute recurring reports and support stakeholders with self-service reporting solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, optimize, and innovate existing analysis and reporting processes.
  • Contribute to the rationalization of the reporting landscape by identifying synergies and streamlining outputs.
  • Gather and analyse stakeholder requirements and translate them into effective data and reporting solutions.
  • Document reporting needs, propose suitable approaches, and support requirements management from elicitation through validation and documentation.
  • Contribute to change initiatives related to data, reporting, and ways of working.

Technical Profile

  • Proven experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong experience with SQL, SAS, and relational database querying and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks and Power BI.
  • Good knowledge of Python and data visualization.
  • Experience with query performance tuning and optimization.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience with data modelling is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Azure and Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
  • Experience within the insurance or financial sector is advantageous.
  • A Master’s degree is required.

The Ideal Candidate

You are a structured and quality-driven analyst who enjoys working with complex information and turning it into meaningful insights. You combine strong critical-thinking skills with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach and are not afraid to challenge existing processes constructively. You are curious about new developments in BI and data, proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement, and comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as is the ability to work fluently in both Dutch and English.
