We're looking for a dedicated consultant to become an integral part of our client's finance operations team. This position involves a meticulous approach to inventory data analysis and reconciliation, ensuring data quality and consistency while contributing to significant projects aimed at transforming supply chain processes.

Responsibilities and Role

The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring the inventory reconciliation between logistics systems and accounting (SAP). Key responsibilities include:

• Analyzing inventory data and conducting thorough reconciliations between current logistics and accounting inventories.
• Identifying discrepancies, investigating root causes, and collaborating on structural solutions to enhance data quality.
• Ensuring accurate processing of inventory data within financial systems, maintaining and optimizing the Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt (GR/IR) list.
• Documenting and optimizing inventory processes while transferring standard processes to the Shared Service Center.

Project Involvement

In addition to daily responsibilities, the role involves active participation in a transformative supply chain project, where legacy systems are being migrated to SAP S/4HANA. Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with ICT, logistics, and financial teams on inventory migration to a unified dataset within SAP S/4HANA.
• Engaging in a multidisciplinary workstream focused on data and inventory, addressing stock analysis, data cleansing, and discrepancy processes.
• Ensuring accurate transfer of logistics inventory to SAP S/4HANA, including precise accounting processing and validation of the GR/IR list.

The Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, or equivalent experience. Additional qualifications include:

• A strong affinity for systems (SAP ECC/S/4HANA/Legacy) with a solid understanding of inventory processes.
• Experience in documenting inventory business processes.
• A structured work approach with the ability to navigate complex data flows effectively.
• A strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and proactive collaboration with various stakeholders within supply chain and finance.

Fluency in English and Dutch is required for effective communication in this role.
