Data Automation Expert

Function

We’re looking for a consultant to join our client’s team and take ownership of transforming reporting processes into a modern, automated, and insight-driven environment. This role is centered on replacing manual reporting workflows with dynamic dashboards, leveraging data visualization to deliver clarity, efficiency, and real business impact.

Role & Responsibilities
As a consultant, you will drive the end-to-end evolution of reporting and analytics capabilities. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assessing and optimizing existing data flows and reporting structures
• Consolidating multiple reporting sources into a unified, user-friendly dashboard
• Converting static presentations into interactive, visually compelling reports
• Designing and implementing scalable dashboard solutions using Power BI
• Automating data extraction, transformation, and refresh processes
• Enabling business stakeholders to independently maintain and evolve reports
• Promoting best practices in dashboard design, data modeling, and usage
• Clearly communicating insights, progress, and recommendations to stakeholders

Profile & Ideal Candidate
Our client is seeking a consultant who combines technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills:

• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and structured in approach
• A collaborative team player with strong communication and presentation abilities
• Proven experience in business intelligence and reporting environments
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, stakeholder-driven setting

Technical & Functional Expertise

• Strong proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Office tools
• Experience with automation tools such as Power Automate is an advantage
• Solid understanding of reporting frameworks and data visualization best practices
• Familiarity with project-based work environments; exposure to financial services or insurance is a plus

Education & Languages

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required
• Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken
