Data Integration Engineer

Function

We’re looking for an Integration Engineer to join our client’s digital and data team, supporting the evolution of their enterprise data platform. You’ll work in a product-driven environment where data integration, reliability, and scalability are key. This is a hands-on engineering role suited to someone who enjoys building robust integration layers while collaborating closely with architects, developers, and business stakeholders.

You’ll help ensure that data flows efficiently across systems and that solutions are designed with performance, quality, and maintainability in mind.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Design and implement solutions supporting data quality, master data management, and reliable data exchange

• Align technical implementations with architectural guidelines and business requirements

• Contribute best practices in data management, integration patterns, and distributed architectures

• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring to ensure solution stability and performance

• Provide technical expertise on platform tooling such as messaging systems, distributed caching, monitoring, and audit solutions

• Collaborate with engineering leads to improve development standards and technical maturity

• Help maintain documentation and knowledge sharing within the team

• Provide second- and third-line support for production systems when needed

Technical Profile

Our client is looking for someone with strong integration engineering experience and a product mindset, including:

• Solid experience with the .NET / Microsoft ecosystem (3+ years)

• Experience with integration frameworks, schedulers, and audit/trace solutions

• Hands-on knowledge of monitoring tools and operational observability practices

• Experience building and consuming web services (REST, SOAP, GraphQL), plus working with XML, flat files, and event-driven or streaming communication

• Understanding of distributed system patterns (synchronous and asynchronous), caching strategies, and messaging/event streaming platforms

• Practical experience developing integration layers in data-centric environments

• Experience with automated testing, CI pipelines, and production-grade delivery practices

• Ability to support tooling across mixed environments (Windows and Unix)

• Experience working in product-oriented or agile delivery teams
