Data Project Manager

We're looking for an experienced Data Project Manager to join our client's Data & Analytics organization and lead the successful delivery of strategic, data-driven initiatives. In this role, you will oversee end-to-end projects related to data platforms, analytics solutions and innovative data products, working closely with both business and technology stakeholders. Responsibilities

As Data Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives;
• Defining project scope, goals, timelines and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and management;
• Creating and maintaining detailed project plans, communication strategies and budget proposals;
• Managing project execution to ensure delivery within scope, budget, timeline and quality expectations;
• Coordinating and facilitating communication between business teams, technical teams and external stakeholders;
• Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and dependencies, and implementing mitigation strategies;
• Organizing steering committees and project status meetings, while guiding cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle;
• Producing clear documentation and communicating effectively with audiences at different organizational levels.

Technical Environment & Profile

The ideal candidate has extensive experience delivering Data & Analytics initiatives, including projects involving:

• Data platforms and data ingestion solutions;
• Reporting and business intelligence;
• Data science and data exploration;
• Artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions.

Experience with the following technologies and domains is considered a strong advantage:

• Microsoft Azure data technologies;
• SAP and BW/4HANA;
• Business processes related to transportation, operations, maintenance, HR, finance, or sales and marketing.

The Ideal Candidate

To succeed in this role, you bring:

• More than 10 years of project management experience, including at least 10 years in Data & Analytics environments;
• Proven expertise in managing project scope, planning, budgets, quality and stakeholder expectations;
• Strong knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and SAFe Essentials;
• Project management certifications such as PM² and/or PMBOK;
• A solid understanding of IT environments and complex technology landscapes;
• Experience with ITIL principles and processes;
• Excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset and the ability to navigate ambiguity;
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt your message to different audiences;
• Fluency in English and in either Dutch or French, with strong written and verbal communication abilities;
• Availability to work on-site at our client's offices at least two days per week.

This position is ideal for a hands-on project leader who combines technical affinity with strong stakeholder management skills and a passion for delivering high-impact data initiatives.
