Data Quality Analyst

Function

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a key role in the transition from legacy systems to a new ERP platform within the logistics operations of the organisation. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, the IT department, and external implementation partners to ensure high data quality, develop automated data validation tools, and support stakeholders in expanding their knowledge and capabilities throughout the transformation.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct root cause analyses to understand drivers of data quality issues across the application landscape
• Document findings, quantify the business impact of data quality problems, and work with stakeholders to translate insights into actionable improvement plans
• Analyse relevant datasets to address specific business questions or challenges
• Perform data profiling on critical datasets to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and redundancies
• Develop tools to automate data quality checks for the systems within the scope of the transformation
• Promote cross-functional alignment by working with data stewards, business owners, and IT leaders to establish consistent data quality rules, standards, and metrics
• Create dashboards and reports that provide ongoing visibility into data quality and overall data health
• Support business teams in improving data creation and maintenance processes at the source, fostering a proactive data quality mindset

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., applied computer science, business engineering, data science)
• Solid understanding of data governance principles
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Data Analyst
• Experience with ERP modules related to supply chain or logistics
• Strong SQL skills for data querying
• Experience with data visualisation tools for dashboards and reporting
• Experience with data science tools such as Python is a plus
