Data Quality Specialist

Function

We're looking for an experienced Data Quality Analyst to support our client's data transformation journey. In this role, you'll help improve data quality and strengthen data governance across multiple business domains, ensuring trusted data is available to support strategic decision-making, reporting, and operational excellence. You'll work at the intersection of business and technology, collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders to expand and enhance an established data quality framework and reporting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with a diverse range of business and IT stakeholders, ensuring alignment on data quality initiatives.
• Develop and coordinate data quality plans for new project phases in collaboration with project management teams.
• Analyse and profile datasets to identify key data elements and define meaningful data quality rules.
• Work closely with data stewards, domain owners, functional analysts, and data engineers to improve data quality processes.
• Design, build, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor data quality across multiple domains.
• Translate data quality findings into actionable recommendations and support remediation activities.
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of data governance practices and reporting capabilities.

Your Profile

• At least 6 years of experience in data analysis, data quality, or a similar role within complex environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate technical findings into clear business insights.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Power BI.
• Experience collaborating with both business stakeholders and technical teams, including data stewards and domain owners.
• Self-driven, well-organized, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic project environment.
• Familiarity with data modelling concepts is considered an asset.
• Experience within the insurance sector is a plus but not essential.
• Based in Belgium and fluent in Dutch or French, with a good command of English.
• Available to work on-site at our client's office at least two days per week.
