Datacenter Project Manager

For a client in Brussels, we are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to support a large-scale infrastructure migration program within a complex enterprise IT environment.

The organization is currently undergoing a significant transformation of its IT landscape, involving the migration of server and infrastructure components across multiple internal teams and external technology partners.

Role Summary

As Senior IT Project Manager, you will lead a critical infrastructure migration initiative. You are responsible for ensuring structured planning, coordination, and delivery of the project within agreed scope, timeline, and budget.

You will operate in a multi-stakeholder environment, working closely with internal IT departments and external partners to ensure smooth execution and alignment across all parties.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a large-scale IT infrastructure migration project.
• Define and manage project scope, planning, dependencies, and milestones.
• Ensure adherence to structured project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2 or equivalent).
• Act as central point of contact for project communication and governance.
• Coordinate technical migration activities across multiple IT teams.
• Translate technical and business requirements into actionable project plans.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and issues.
• Ensure alignment between internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Provide clear and regular reporting to steering committees and stakeholders.

Profile Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience as IT Project Manager.
• Strong experience in IT infrastructure environments.
• Proven experience with large-scale infrastructure or data center migration projects, preferably including environments involving Nutanix or similar hyperconverged infrastructure technologies.
• Solid understanding of IT processes and enterprise environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent planning, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing risks and dependencies in complex projects.
• Proactive, structured, and result-oriented mindset.

Additional Assets

• Experience working in multilingual environments (Dutch, French, English).
• Experience with formal project management methodologies (PRINCE2, PMBOK).
• Experience in large IT transformation programs.
