DevOps Engineer
Function
Our client, a global organization with advanced digital operations, is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their team in Belgium on a contract basis. In this role, you will support cloud and infrastructure automation, improve release pipelines, and ensure operational excellence across applications and services.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for both new and legacy services, automating infrastructure and application deployments.

Implement full-stack monitoring to track cloud platforms, operating systems, applications, and telemetry.

Manage and remediate technical debt across cloud environments using automation and pipelines.

Continuously improve time-to-market for products and releases by proposing and implementing innovative automation solutions.

Provide input on architecture and engineering standards.

Create automation to ensure consistency in deployment, maintenance, and operation of products and services.

Troubleshoot and identify root causes for complex cross-product issues, defining action items to improve reliability.
Profile & Experience

Minimum 5 years in AppOps or DevOps roles on cloud platforms.

Expertise with SCM/CI/CD tools, such as Azure DevOps.

Experience writing IaC templates using Terraform or Bicep.

Hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure and architecture, including creating build and release pipelines for software and cloud environments.

Strong troubleshooting skills across network, application, hardware, and service layers.

Experience in quality improvement, performance optimization, and observability solutions (Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor).

Familiarity with Agile environments and SDLC methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, etc.).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.

Azure AZ-400 certification is a plus.
