DevOps Engineer

Function

Our client, a global organization with advanced digital operations, is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their team in Belgium on a contract basis. In this role, you will support cloud and infrastructure automation, improve release pipelines, and ensure operational excellence across applications and services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for both new and legacy services, automating infrastructure and application deployments.

• Implement full-stack monitoring to track cloud platforms, operating systems, applications, and telemetry.

• Manage and remediate technical debt across cloud environments using automation and pipelines.

• Continuously improve time-to-market for products and releases by proposing and implementing innovative automation solutions.

• Provide input on architecture and engineering standards.

• Create automation to ensure consistency in deployment, maintenance, and operation of products and services.

• Troubleshoot and identify root causes for complex cross-product issues, defining action items to improve reliability.

Profile & Experience

• Minimum 5 years in AppOps or DevOps roles on cloud platforms.

• Expertise with SCM/CI/CD tools, such as Azure DevOps.

• Experience writing IaC templates using Terraform or Bicep.

• Hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure and architecture, including creating build and release pipelines for software and cloud environments.

• Strong troubleshooting skills across network, application, hardware, and service layers.

• Experience in quality improvement, performance optimization, and observability solutions (Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor).

• Familiarity with Agile environments and SDLC methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, etc.).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.

• Azure AZ-400 certification is a plus.
