DevOps Engineer

Function

We're looking for a dedicated consultant to join our client's team. This role involves providing essential support for development processes, managing deployment, release, and infrastructure to ensure a stable, secure, and scalable IT environment.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Contribute to the renewal of hardware and software components by conducting necessary functional and technical analyses to meet user and organizational needs.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders on relevant processes and infrastructure choices.
  • Advise on cloud solutions and deployment strategies.
  • Collaborate in developing scalable environments.
• Develop, determine technical requirements for, and implement new hardware, software, and applications to provide a quality set of tools.
  • Contribute to basic development in .NET.
  • Integrate solutions within existing systems and work with development teams.
• Monitor, maintain, test, and secure IT infrastructure and software applications to ensure reliability, safety, and usability for end users.
  • Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines.
  • Manage release management processes while ensuring stability, security, and compliance.

Role and Tasks

• Maintain data structures and system settings to ensure a performant environment for data management and provide quick restoration of user files in case of loss or damage.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Manage cloud environments.
  • Support deployment and configuration.
• Analyze, resolve, and track application or network-related issues, ensuring proper functioning of these applications or networks.
  • Collaborate with external partners during incidents.
  • Proactively improve processes.
• Formulate proposals for renewal and optimization of activities to meet current and future business needs.
  • Enhance deployment flows and automation.
  • Optimize CI/CD and release processes.
  • Introduce best practices in development and maintenance processes.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

• Experience with .NET, React, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency with Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with CI/CD, Terraform, Powershell, Docker, Kubernetes, and GIT.
• Knowledge of application and API security.
• Ability to perform unit and integration testing.
• Fluency in Dutch or French, with proficiency in English being essential.
