DevOps Engineer
Function
We're looking for an experienced Build & Release Engineer to join our client's team and play a key role in the management and modernization of its software delivery environment. You will work at the heart of the CI/CD ecosystem, ensuring reliable, automated and secure delivery processes while helping development teams adopt more standardized and efficient ways of working.
Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain and continuously optimize the existing CI/CD ecosystem, including Jenkins, Digital.ai Release, Digital.ai Deploy and Nexus Repository.
- Design, implement and maintain robust build, release and deployment pipelines.
- Investigate and resolve complex build, release and deployment issues, providing effective support to development teams.
- Contribute actively to the modernization of the software delivery landscape by identifying and implementing improvements.
- Drive the standardization and automation of software delivery processes across multiple teams.
- Manage software artifacts, repositories and related lifecycle processes.
- Integrate quality and security controls into the software delivery pipeline in line with DevSecOps principles.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures and operational guidelines.
- Share knowledge, coach colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement within the team.
Technical Profile
The ideal candidate brings:
- 5+ years of experience with CI/CD and build automation, using technologies such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- 5+ years of experience in release and deployment management, preferably with Digital.ai Release and Digital.ai Deploy.
- 3+ years of experience with artifact repository management, using solutions such as Nexus Repository, Artifactory or Azure Artifacts.
- 5+ years of experience with source code management and Git-based workflows, including GitLab, GitHub or Bitbucket.
- 3+ years of experience with scripting and automation using Bash and/or Python.
- 3+ years of experience with DevSecOps and continuous improvement practices, including SonarQube, security scanning and CI/CD governance.
