Digital Workplace Architect
Function
As Workplace Architect, you will define and drive the architecture of the digital workplace. You’ll work closely with IT, security, and business stakeholders to design scalable solutions that improve user experience while meeting strict security and compliance requirements. This is a senior, hands-on architecture role with clear technical leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize end user computing solutions across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and virtual desktop environments

Lead architecture and rollout of modern workplace technologies such as Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Endpoint Manager (Intune), and collaboration tools

Assess existing workplace environments and propose improvements, upgrades, or new standards

Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and regulatory frameworks

Define and maintain architecture standards, technical documentation, and diagrams

Drive automation for device provisioning, application deployment, patching, and configuration management

Provide technical guidance and best practices to EUC and support teams

Continuously monitor trends and innovations in digital workplace and end user computing
Your Profile

Strong background in end user computing, workplace architecture, or similar IT roles (typically 5+ years)

Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, MDM solutions, and VDI technologies

Experience with device lifecycle management, application packaging and deployment, and identity & access management

Familiarity with security and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR
-
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a consultative mindset

Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to complex technical challenges
Nice to Have

Scripting and automation experience (e.g. PowerShell, Python)

Exposure to cloud-based desktop solutions such as Windows 365 or Azure Virtual Desktop

Understanding of ITIL processes and service management

Relevant certifications in Microsoft 365, identity & security, collaboration platforms, AI or automation technologies
Languages: English and Dutch (both required)
