Function

Our client is looking for an experienced Digital Workplace Project Manager to support initiatives that improve employee productivity, collaboration, and overall workplace experience through technology. In this role, you will lead the planning and delivery of digital workplace projects, ensuring strong governance, clear stakeholder alignment, and successful outcomes across scope, timeline, budget, and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business needs into scalable digital workplace solutions and contribute to the broader workplace roadmap.
  • Manage project scope, objectives, deliverables, budgets, timelines, and success criteria from initiation through delivery.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between IT, business stakeholders, vendors, service providers, and consulting partners.
  • Track execution progress, risks, dependencies, issues, and quality, while providing regular updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure solutions remain aligned with governance standards, security expectations, data privacy requirements, regulatory constraints, and lifecycle management processes.
  • Support improvement initiatives by evaluating technologies, supplier performance, and opportunities for greater business value.
  • Facilitate workshops, alignment sessions, steering discussions, and other stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Drive change management and user adoption efforts to increase the impact of digital workplace solutions.
  • Define and monitor KPIs related to adoption, usage, user satisfaction, and realized business value.
  • Promote efficient, user-friendly, and innovative ways of working with a strong focus on employee experience.

Technical Skills

  • Strong experience in project and program management, using Agile, PRINCE2, PMI, or similar methodologies.
  • Broad understanding of digital workplace technologies, collaboration platforms, and modern working practices.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft-based workplace environments, including Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Good understanding of Azure cloud infrastructure concepts.
  • Experience with enterprise endpoint management, identity, security, automation, and collaboration tooling is highly relevant.
  • Ability to work with governance frameworks and to connect business requirements with technical design and implementation choices.
  • Advanced communication, presentation, facilitation, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-paced, matrixed environments.

Profile

  • You bring extensive IT project experience, ideally with a strong background in infrastructure and digital workplace initiatives.
  • You have successfully managed multiple digital workplace projects and can clearly explain your own contribution to design, delivery, and governance decisions.
  • You are comfortable leading discussions on security, compliance, cloud migration, endpoint management, and workplace transformation.
  • You can influence stakeholders at different levels and build trust across technical and business audiences.
  • You combine structure and pragmatism, with the ability to manage complexity while keeping delivery on track.
  • You have a strong focus on outcomes, user adoption, and measurable business value.

Practical Information

  • This is a consulting opportunity offered on an 80% or 100% basis.
  • The working arrangement is hybrid, with approximately 50% remote work and 50% on-site presence, in line with operational needs.
  • Languages: fluent Dutch or French, and professional working proficiency in English.
