Domain Architect

Function

We’re looking for a Senior SAP Domain Architect to join our client’s digital transformation team. You will lead the design and evolution of the end-to-end architecture for Customer Relationship Management and Order-to-Cash (O2C) domains, ensuring a future-ready SAP landscape that supports millions of customer interactions and transactions. This is a strategic consulting role where you’ll bridge business and IT, define the roadmap, and guide major architectural decisions across large-scale SAP and non-SAP ecosystems.

Role and Responsibilities

As a trusted architecture advisor, you will:

• Define and maintain the strategic vision, roadmap, and multi-year plan for SAP and related systems within CRM and O2C processes.

• Act as the main contact for enterprise architecture topics, aligning business objectives with IT strategy and emerging technologies.

• Prepare and present architecture proposals, standards, and roadmaps to review boards and senior stakeholders.

• Lead and validate solution designs in collaboration with business relationship managers, project managers, and solution architects.

• Oversee application lifecycle management to ensure coherence, performance, and compliance with data privacy and security standards.

• Advise on technology purchases, software licensing, and vendor assessments.

• Identify opportunities to optimize and modernize the IT landscape proactively.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a seasoned SAP professional who combines strategic vision with strong technical expertise:

• At least 15 years of experience implementing and architecting SAP SD and FICA for sales and billing, and SAP CRM, CDC, and C4C for after-sales processes.

• In-depth knowledge of ECC, S/4HANA SD, CRM, BRIM, and SAP SaaS Cloud for Sales/Service, with strong integration into Financials.

• Proven experience in building GDPR-compliant SAP solutions, handling large volumes of documents, and managing customer billing or after-sales workflows.

• Solid understanding of Belgian data privacy and security legislation and experience within the public or utilities sector.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, Xray, and Solution Manager, and experience leading cross-domain SAP projects.

• Excellent communication skills in English and either Dutch or French, with the ability to explain complex architectures clearly to non-technical audiences.
