Domain Architect Customer Engagement

Function

We're looking for an experienced consultant to join our client's team, where you will play a vital role in shaping the evolution of their product offerings and the associated platforms and services. In this critical position, you will define the trajectory of their commercial offerings as well as the technology roadmap that encompasses product development, sales, pricing, data management, security, channels, and customer support systems. Your efforts will ensure seamless processes, high-quality data, and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include leading the commercial roadmap development, identifying the optimal mix of product offerings, and guiding the shift from multiple tailored products to fewer streamlined options. You will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate operational needs into scalable, secure technical solutions. Additionally, your role will require you to:

• Develop long-term technical roadmaps that support desired product evolution.
• Drive short-term initiatives that lay the groundwork for long-term foundational technical architecture.
• Design robust customer master data models and support the integration of customer data with operational systems.
• Establish architecture aligned with compliance standards, including GDPR, and maintain data quality and security.
• Engage with business units to ensure technology aligns with service goals.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in Product Management and Business Architecture, with a strong background in customer platforms, enterprise system integration, and digital transformations. Essential qualifications include:

• In-depth knowledge of customer master system architecture and Master Data Management principles.
• Hands-on experience with integration technologies such as APIs and event-driven systems.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into coherent technical designs while ensuring scalability and security.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, coupled with a strategic mindset and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Fluency in both English and Dutch.

Preferred Skills

While not mandatory, the following skills will be considered a plus:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics, Power Platform, and Azure architecture.
• Industry experience in logistics or related domains.
• Understanding of Agile or SAFe methodologies.
• Experience with customer KPIs and enterprise data governance practices.
